Our 1st date was 22 years ago-We were on our way to dinner & had a flat tire and he didn’t have his jack in the truck for some reason. so had to wait for a friend to come help. so ended up sitting in the truck and talking and by the time his friend went to the house, got the jack, came to where we were-it was too late for dinner.

  7. Rebecca Reinwalt says:

My first actual date where a boy came and picked me up would have been my freshman year in high school for our home coming dance. My mom had bought me a “gunnysac” dress which was all the rage that year. It had blue velvet down the front and I was nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. I still can recall the date as if it happened yesterday, but it’s been almost 34 years now. And sad to say, the young man that took me out passed away shortly after he graduated.
